Abstract

The current situation in the field of municipal and industrial waste water management in the Republic of Serbia is not adequate. Based on the report of the Serbian Environmental Protection Agency (SEPA) for the year 2021, the percentage of the population connected to urban wastewater treatment with at least secondary treatment is approximately 15.2%, which indicates bad consequences for the state of the environment and sustainable development. The latest published data from the SEPA agency show that wastewater contains large amounts of harmful zinc, copper, chromium, arsenic, lead, nickel and their compounds. The technologies applied to treat micropollutants in water depend on the physical, chemical and biological properties of the compounds present in the water. On the basis of existing scientific knowledge, the expert public in the field of wastewater treatment, in addition to the standard mechanical procedure of previous treatment and conventional physical and chemical procedures, proposes four complementary procedures for the removal of micropollutants: Treatment of micropollutants by biological decomposition; Treatment of micropollutants by adsorption; Oxidation of micropollutants by physical-thermal techniques; Membrane separation for retention of micropollutants. In this paper is presents a statistical analysis of the participation of different types of micropollutants in wastewater in Serbia.

A database (DB) is an organized set of related data from a specific field, which can be collected and processed. The data in the database are somehow logically connected, and can represent data from all areas of human activity and all aspects of the real world. Entering or adding, updating (editing, changing and deleting), organizing, accessing, searching, sorting and displaying data, as well as sharing it with others via reports, e-mails or the Internet, is made possible by database management systems (DBMS). Dozens of material databases (MDB) have been developed for the field of materials in the world. They allow storing, accessing, searching, sorting and displaying data about materials according to their type, physical characteristics, mechanical properties and standard classifications. This makes material databases (MDB) an excellent and powerful software tool for any engineer which, with the development of the Internet, has become easily accessible to both engineers and anyone else interested in the production and application of various types of materials. Some examples of material databases (MDB) are: a large number of online material databases developed by ASM (American Society for Metals International), such as: ACDB™ (Alloy Center Database), MMDB™ (Medical Materials Database), MPDS (Materials Platform for Data Science), MakeItFrom, MAPTIS (Materials and Processes Technical Information System), Materials Project, MatDat (Materials Database), MatNavi developed by NIMS (National Institute for Materials Science), MatWeb (Materials Information on Web), MC (Material Connexion), MWeb (Materials Web), OMDB (Open Materials Database), Total Materia, UL Prospector etc. Each of the listed Material Databases (MDBs) contains more than 150,000 data on different materials.

Abstract

The concept of Water Imprint is a relatively new approach in defining the required amounts of water in water management activities. By dividing the water footprint into blue, green and gray water footprints, the quantities of water that circulate through the various water management activities can be defined. But the concept has its drawbacks and ambiguities and it can not be applied equally to all geographical areas. Greater analysis of the climatic characteristics of certain areas is needed and inclusion of all factors of natural pollution related to air, soil and water pollution that have a great impact in determining the required amounts of water necessary for the use of water supply to the population, industry and agriculture.

The development of the water economy and the increased need for water of the population and industries contributes to the need for new innovative solutions that will enable a stable supply of the population, industry, agriculture and energy with the required quantities of water. The main and irreplaceable element in providing the required amounts of water are the pipes that are installed in the pressure systems. The current types of pipes used in the water economy, can not continuously follow the trends in the distribution of quantities of water that is variable during 24 hours and during 365 days. In this paper, a new concept for the development of pipes used in pressure systems will be presented.

in this paper we consider the problem of optimal scheduling of queueing networks with switching times based on genetic algorithms approach. We propose a special chromosome encoding scheme, crossover and mutation operators. Deterministic mutation is used to prevent premature convergence to a poor solution. Finally, results of computational experiments with distributed components are included to compare deterministic mutation with classical probabilistic one. A system of distributed components is usually configured once the once only during the build-time when known and tested versions of components are used. In practice, large scale applications, especially those from scientific and engineering domain, are highly data centric and the computations are organized around data specific to the problem being solved. To mature software development, engineering methods, such as configuration management architecture and development models related to the component development paradigm, must be introduced.

Banke su finansijske organizacije čije je poslovanje od značaja kako za same osnivače, tako i za njene komitente ali i za državu. Značaj za osnivače banke proizilazi iz interesa osnivača, a to je ostvarivanje profita. Značaj organizacije i poslovanja banaka za komitente proizilazi iz njihovog interesa da banka svojim poslovanjem prati njihove potrebe, bez obzira da li su u pitanju sigurnost depozita, visina kamatnih stopa na depozite, visina kamatnih stopa na kredite, ročnost, namjena kredita ili ostale usluge koje banka obavlja (efikasnost šalterske službe, cijene usluga, sigurnost i tajnost podataka, broj i sadržaj kreditnih ili debitnih kartica i slično). Jedan zajednički element povezuje interese svih navedenih lica involviranih u poslovanje banke, a to su: sigurnost, efikasnost i efektivnost poslovanja banke. Samo dobra organizacija poslovanja banke može da donese rezultat koji zadovoljava zahtjeve osnivača (profitabilnost), komitenata (sigurnost i cijenu usluga) i države (pozitivan uticaj na finansijske tokove i monetarnu stabilnost zemlje). Da bi ove svoje zadatke ostvarila banka u savremenim uslovima mora maksimalno da automatizuje svoje poslove a to je nezamislivo bez dobro dizajniranog i primjenjenog informacionog sistema.
